Established in 2000, Arcadia Sim is one of the longest standing horse sim games online today. We've come a long and are proud to say we've changed for the better. Arcadia's dedication to professionalism and realism in addition to our emphasis on fellowship, conviviality and community help to make Arcadia a fun place to be. We rely heavily on dynamic PHP driven pages to ensure ease-of-gameplay. Currently Arcadia boasts full site login integration (register once, have access to everything), horse database pages (including 3-generation pedigrees and progeny reports), an Arcadia show randomizer linked to our database (and as such full show records at the click of a button). We take fun seriously at Arcadia, and are not the game for everyone. We encourage all potential members to tour our site as a Guest before pursuing membership.
To celebrate the end of this first new year, we are going to be having a big chat party! With the results from all awards and prizes, as well as a number of games, and gifts to those that attend so it shouldn't be missed!
2012 also marks the Olympic year, a list of Olympic qualifiers has gone up in the Sanctioned events forum so make sure you check these out and enter your horses for a chance to qualify for the championship classes. All horses placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in their section will be entered into a championship class to determine which horse deserve the Gold, Silver or Bronze!
To be in with a chance to win a horse, Stable or member prize don't forget to nominate your choices in the Horse of the Year awards or Eclipse Racing Awards!
Every month the Vet board will be holding Broodmare and Stud Raffles! Buy your tickets, or even enter a horse to be in for the chance for winning a breeding or some extra cash!
The Traffic Incentive scheme is still going! So dont forget to vote once a day for your $1,000! If your out for more money making fun, try the lottery or help out at the adverts board!
Horse of the Month has undergone a re-vamp! You may now nominate yours OR someone else's horse, making the process a little more exciting! Voting is open from the 1st to the 20th of each month with 10 days after that for voting. The winner will be announced on the last day of the month. Check it out now to vote before February is up!
Finally the Auction House is back up and running. Currently looking at doing one horse auction every month/two months depending on the number of horses that come up for sale. In the mean time check out the recent barn liquidation auction to puck up some cheap facilities and tack!
